Sashiko Workshop - Saturday, August 22 10am-3pm

$125.00

Limited to 6 participants

Ages 16+

Saturday, August 22 10am-3pm

Learn one stitch and open the possibility of an infinite variety of patterns in Sashiko, which means “little stabs” in Japanese. Sashiko was traditionally used for mending clothing decoratively. We’ll create an 8” X 8” panel in a design of your choice, but you can bring something that needs to be mended to work on as well! All tools and materials for your panel will be provided for use during class. Please bring lunch or a snack to enjoy during our mid-workshop break.
